According to Boeing's 2025 Pilot & Technician Outlook, the civil aviation industry is anticipated to require approximately 2.4 million new professionals by 2044. This includes 660,000 pilots, 710,000 technicians, and 1 million cabin crew members, essential for sustaining the long-term expansion of air travel. Notably, two-thirds of these additional professionals will be needed to compensate for natural attrition, while the remaining one-third will support the growth of commercial aircraft fleets. The demand is primarily fueled by single-aisle aircraft, with Europe, Asia, China, and North America emerging as the key regions.
