Since the official launch of the Cross-border Payment Link on June 22, the network has witnessed a rapid expansion, with the number of Hong Kong collecting banks growing to 16 within its inaugural month. On July 18, a spokesperson from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority confirmed that the Cross-border Payment Link has been operating seamlessly since its inception. Following the initial batch of participating banks, additional Hong Kong financial institutions are anticipated to join the service once their preparatory measures are completed.
