On July 13, Chinese airlines experienced a rare occurrence when they collectively received three Boeing 737-8 Max aircraft in a single day. The planes were delivered to Xiamen Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, and Shandong Airlines, respectively. Following their take-off from Seattle, these aircraft made a customary stopover in Honolulu before continuing their journey to China. As of the end of June, Boeing had successfully delivered 28 aircraft to China this year.
