Lu Daliang, spokesperson for the General Administration of Customs, emphasized that the Administration is precisely addressing the needs of enterprises and fostering the growth of new business models. During the first half of the year, the import and export value of the nationwide bonded maintenance business amounted to 256.99 billion yuan, marking a 7.5% year-on-year increase. This surge can be attributed to the refinement and adaptation of the catalog of bonded maintenance products within comprehensive bonded zones, as well as the support provided for eligible bonded maintenance projects. Furthermore, the General Administration of Customs has broadened the pilot program for the "lithium battery recycling packaging inspection model" and implemented a tiered supervision approach for products that are both medicinal and edible ("medicine and food homology").
