On July 9, the China-Europe Express Train (Chengdu-Chongqing) Southern Route commenced regular operations. This collaborative venture between Yuxinou (Chongqing) Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., and Turkey Pacific Global Logistics Group, sees the train departing via the Khorgos Port, traversing nations like Azerbaijan and Georgia, before ultimately reaching Turkey and other European destinations. This regular service has reduced the transit time from Chongqing to Europe via the "Middle Corridor" to between 25 and 30 days. Additionally, both parties signed a memorandum for the "Middle Corridor International Procurement Center" project, aiming to foster a cooperative network and exchange platform for Eurasian trade and industrial chain supply chain enterprises based in Chongqing.
