During the first half of this year, the Manzhouli highway port, a vital logistics link connecting China with Belt and Road Initiative countries like Russia, witnessed a remarkable surge in TIR transport activity. Specifically, the port handled 694 TIR transport vehicles, marking a 342% increase year-on-year. Equally impressive, the value of goods transported amounted to 890 million yuan, soaring 860% year-on-year and setting a new record since the inception of TIR transport services at the port.
