On June 30, Ming-Chi Kuo, a prominent Apple analyst from TF International Securities, offered insights into Apple's forthcoming innovations. According to Kuo, Apple plans to unveil at least seven Vision headsets and smart glasses between 2025 and 2028, encompassing two distinct series with successive releases beginning in late 2025. Notably, 2026 will be a year without new model introductions, but from 2027 onwards, multiple new products are set to debut. These include three Vision series devices and four smart glasses series, with some products already having confirmed development timelines.
Within the smart glasses series, Apple is expected to release products akin to Meta's Ray-Ban, anticipated to ship between 3 to 5 million units in 2027, signifying a robust market potential. While Apple boasts strengths in hardware development and ecosystem integration, it also faces hurdles in AI operating systems and software development, presenting areas for future focus and improvement.
