Effective June 28, passengers boarding flights must ensure that their power banks display clear 3C markings; otherwise, they will be prohibited from being carried on domestic flights. Furthermore, power banks must adhere to specific capacity regulations. According to the Civil Aviation Administration's guidelines, power banks with a rated energy of 100Wh or less may be carried without airline approval, while those between 100Wh and 160Wh require airline approval and are limited to a maximum of two per passenger. Power banks exceeding 160Wh are strictly prohibited. Additionally, power banks must be carried on or stored in carry-on luggage and may not be checked in. They must remain turned off throughout the entire flight and must not be used during the journey.
