The United States has imposed sanctions on Iran's defense industry, designating one individual and eight entities, while also blocking a vessel named "Shunkaixing" as prohibited property. This vessel, owned by Hong Kong's Unico Shipping Co. Ltd., was transporting sensitive machinery that had been designated by the U.S. Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). The machinery originated from RRA and Towse Sanaye Nim Resanaye Tarashe, a company under the control of RRA executives.
