The Fujian Province has unveiled a medium- and long-term strategy for the development of its hydrogen energy industry, spanning the years 2025 to 2035. The initial phase, from 2025 to 2030, aims to establish a robust foundation with key milestones. These include the establishment of ten innovation platforms, the cultivation of a production capacity for 6,000 fuel cell vehicles, and the capacity to produce 30,000 tons of green hydrogen and 100,000 tons of hydrogen-based green fuels. The anticipated output value for this period is projected to surpass 60 billion yuan. The subsequent period, from 2030 to 2035, is envisioned as a phase of rapid expansion. The plan calls for achieving a production capacity of 100,000 tons of green hydrogen and 1 million tons of hydrogen-based green fuels. Notably, the proportion of green hydrogen is expected to exceed 40%, and the overall output value is projected to exceed 300 billion yuan. This ambitious growth trajectory aims to establish Fujian Province as a significant hydrogen energy hub along the southeast coast of China.
