China Southern Airlines today took delivery of its inaugural locally manufactured C919 aircraft for the year, heralding the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC)'s first C919 delivery to an airline in 2023. The airline anticipates receiving a total of 12 C919s this year and has already inaugurated seven routes with the new aircraft. Furthermore, Air China and China Eastern Airlines also aim to welcome 10 C919s each into their fleets this year.
