This week, Meta notified Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses users via email about updates to its privacy policy, which involve increasing the default volume of data collected. Unless users specifically disable the 'Hey Meta' feature, the Meta AI camera will remain active and will periodically analyze the captured content. Furthermore, Meta has discontinued the option for users to opt-out of storing voice recordings in the cloud; however, users can still delete these recordings within their settings. These alterations officially came into effect in the United States on April 29.
