TrendForce's latest survey indicates that due to the repercussions of the retaliatory tariff policy implemented by the United States, TV brand manufacturers are likely to transfer the cost hike to retail prices in the latter half of 2025, subsequently dampening consumer demand. Furthermore, the trade-in program in the Chinese market during the second half of 2024 has already anticipated and fulfilled a portion of this demand. As a result, global TV shipments are anticipated to decline by 0.7% year-on-year, reaching an estimated 196.44 million units in 2025.
