Agility Robotics, an American humanoid robotics company, has completed its business combination with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) and will list on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol AGLT, becoming the first U.S.-listed humanoid robotics stock. The listing corresponds to an enterprise valuation of approximately $2.5 billion. The transaction and related financing are expected to raise approximately $465 million in capital. The company is deeply engaged in the research and development of humanoid robots for logistics and manufacturing scenarios. Its core product, Digit, has achieved commercial deployment at multiple enterprises, with cumulative real commercial operating hours exceeding 65,000. The new-generation Digit 5 has received more than $300 million in multi-year orders, with deliveries planned to begin in 2027, and its humanoid robot factory under construction is designed with an annual production capacity of up to 10,000 units. The listing will provide funding support for subsequent research and development, capacity expansion, and commercial deployment. The humanoid robotics sector is currently accelerating its shift from technology demonstrations to commercial applications, and the company will subsequently need to prove to the capital markets its ability to convert orders into revenue and improve operations through large-scale delivery.
