November 5 — Apple (AAPL.O) has returned to the investment-grade bond market for financing after more than a year, joining a recent wave of large U.S. tech companies issuing debt. Sources familiar with the matter said Apple is offering seven-part bonds with maturities ranging from 2 to 10 years, and the longest-dated bonds were initially marketed at a spread of 0.8 percentage points over U.S. Treasuries. Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan are managing the sale. Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including share buybacks, dividend payments and capital expenditures. Apple last tapped the bond market in May 2025, when it raised $4.5 billion through a four-part offering.
