CATL has recently delivered the first batch of its EnerQB long-duration energy storage systems, with a capacity of 5.64 MWh, to Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners, a global energy infrastructure investment firm, at its Xiamen production base. This product is developed based on the TENER long-duration energy storage system and is specifically designed for Quinbrook's 3 GW/24 GWh series of long-duration energy storage projects in Australia. The first unit will be shipped to the Stanwell Power Station in central Queensland for deployment. This marks the first batch delivery of long-duration energy storage systems with over 8-hour duration for gigawatt-hour-scale scenarios.
