On October 16, Changjiang Daily reported that on October 14, during the 4th National Sodium Battery Seminar, HiNa Battery Technology Co., Ltd. (Wuhan) entered into an agreement with Jiangxia District, Wuhan, to establish a 10GWh sodium-ion battery production line project. The initial phase of the project will involve setting up a 3GWh sodium-ion battery cell production line, which is set to become the largest of its kind globally. Li Shujun, the General Manager of HiNa Battery Technology Co., Ltd., revealed that the project is slated to begin construction early next year and is expected to become operational within the same year.
