On October 16, Yongquan Innovation revealed that its inaugural smart desktop CNC machine, the ToolDance X1, was officially launched on Kickstarter on October 15. Remarkably, within just two and a half hours, the crowdfunding campaign surpassed the $7 million mark, propelling it into the top three for cumulative crowdfunding amounts among manufacturing tool projects on the platform. The ToolDance X1 is promoted with the highlights of “compact desktop size, industrial-grade capabilities.” It boasts a 1500W permanent magnet synchronous spindle and a 9-position automatic tool changer system, ensuring a repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.01mm and compatibility with a wide range of materials. Furthermore, it incorporates a 3D sensing system and the proprietary ToolDance Studio intelligent programming software, supporting four-axis and five-axis expansion modules to unlock even more machining possibilities.
