The Chicago Board Options Exchange (Cboe) has declared that, commencing next Monday, its options exchange will launch extended morning and after-hours trading sessions for selected stocks and ETF options. This move encompasses well-known corporations like Alibaba, TSMC, Nvidia, Apple, and Tesla. Investors will have the opportunity to engage in pre-market trading from 7:30 AM to 9:25 AM Eastern Time and can extend their trading activities by an extra 15 minutes once the regular trading session concludes. The expanded list also features the 'Magnificent Seven' tech stocks and other sought-after companies, in addition to five ETFs with high trading volumes. This expansion has been carried out in multiple stages, with limit orders being the sole order type permitted during these newly introduced sessions.
