Recently, Unitree Technology unveiled a fully autonomous humanoid combat robot, which is powered in real-time by a world model. However, when compared to combat applications, the deployment of robots in everyday tasks—such as pharmacy order fulfillment and logistics sorting—poses even greater challenges. Current robotic capabilities and associated costs remain hurdles that need to be overcome. Lingbo Technology is dedicated to developing an embodied "brain" and has introduced models like LingBot-World, LingBot-Video, and LingBot-VLA 2.0. Its pharmacy order-picking solution has already been implemented at Guoda Pharmacy. Meanwhile, the company retains its R-series robot body for ongoing research and exploration in life service scenarios.

Zhu Xing highlighted that current robots are not yet adept at adapting to complex and dynamic environments. He underscored the significance of real-world deployment and data iteration in driving enhancements to model capabilities. Embodied world models must conform to physical laws, which is why Lingbo opts to develop related models from the ground up. In terms of data, Lingbo enhances data usability through tailored data collection methods, adopts streaming data delivery, and focuses on Ego data collection techniques combined with haptic gloves. Data priorities shift across different training stages. Currently, there is a reliance on forced data collection, but it is anticipated that the abnormal data flywheel will become influential in the future. The model paradigm is still evolving and necessitates ongoing exploration. While large language model companies possess certain advantages when venturing into the robotics field, they must still tackle the challenges associated with embodied data.

Zhu Xing believes that not all robots need to emulate human forms and that the focus should be on technological value. Lingbo's development of the R-series robots aims to achieve integrated software-hardware research and delve into life service scenarios. The selection of pharmacies as a pilot site is driven by the demand in this particular scenario and its potential to spur technological advancements. Meanwhile, household robots can gradually expand their roles from providing emotional companionship to performing assistive operations.
