Meta plans to launch camera-free smart glasses, codenamed Luna, this fall to diversify its hardware lineup and avoid privacy issues associated with cameras in existing smart glasses. The glasses feature six built-in microphones, support voice interaction with Meta AI and Muse, and include a button on the temple to instantly activate Meta AI. They are also equipped with directional open speakers. The temples are designed to be slimmer, giving the glasses a look closer to that of regular civilian eyewear.
