Industry chain insiders reveal that Sungrow has today sent out a product price adjustment notification to its customers. The notice states that, effective September 20, the company will implement price increases ranging from 5% to 15% on its photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage offerings, which encompass PV inverters, energy storage converters, and energy storage systems. In the notification, Sungrow elucidated that there has been a substantial and sustained surge in the prices of upstream materials, resulting in persistent cost pressures. The existing product pricing structure is no longer sufficient to offset the comprehensive costs associated with raw materials, production, technological advancements, and after-sales operation and maintenance. To uphold product quality and ensure a stable supply, as well as to prevent any potential degradation in product performance, delivery timelines, and service standards due to cost-cutting measures, the company has, after thorough deliberation, opted to moderately revise the prices of the pertinent products.
