China stands as the globe's premier consumer market for eyewear, with smart glasses now eligible for trade-in programs for the first time. In the first half of the year, a staggering 909,000 units flew off the shelves across all sales channels, marking an 85.5% surge year-on-year. Looking to the horizon, personal gadgets such as smart rings and pendants are poised to infiltrate the mainstream consumer electronics market further.
