Autovariable has proudly announced the launch of its innovative dexterous operating system, TwinDex. This groundbreaking system obviates the necessity for real robot teleoperation data during the post-training phase. Remarkably, armed with merely a few hundred non-proprioceptive data points, TwinDex empowers robots to execute precise tasks, such as conducting chemical experiments, with unparalleled accuracy.

The TwinDex system encompasses both data acquisition hardware and robot end-effectors, adopting an isomorphic design philosophy that harmonizes data acquisition with execution. This design endows the system with exceptional dexterity, consistency, and scalability, setting a new benchmark in robotic precision.

In terms of efficiency, TwinDex outperforms traditional real robot teleoperation methods by approximately 5.3 times in data acquisition. Moreover, its non-proprioceptive data can nearly completely substitute for real robot teleoperation data, achieving a replacement rate of nearly 100%. This achievement effectively severs the once-inseparable link between high-quality data and real robot teleoperation, paving the way for a future where new tasks can be accomplished without the dependency on real robot teleoperation data.
