On September 2, 2026, Cornerstone Robotics proudly declared a significant strategic partnership with Medtronic. Under the terms of this agreement, Medtronic is set to make a strategic investment of roughly $700 million in Cornerstone Robotics. In return, Medtronic will secure the distribution rights for Cornerstone Robotics' Sentire® laparoscopic surgical robot in select approved markets beyond the United States. Notably, the robot has already secured market clearance in China, the European Union, and Singapore, with its indications spanning across four major medical fields.
