Blockchain infrastructure company LayerZero plans to launch ATLAS, a blockchain exchange designed specifically for financial institutions, this autumn. The platform will not cater to consumers but will serve as the underlying support for other trading platforms and financial institutions. Initially, it will support spot cryptocurrency tokens and perpetual futures trading, with plans to expand to predictive contracts, futures, and options trading in the future. ATLAS will be built on the Zero blockchain, which LayerZero released in February this year. Currently, institutions such as Citadel Securities, DTCC, and ICE are exploring applications of this blockchain.
