On August 20th, news emerged that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology had recently granted Zhejiang Geespace Technology Co., Ltd. the green light to carry out commercial trials in the satellite IoT business for a two-year span. Throughout this trial phase, Geespace is authorized to conduct pilot operations in compliance with regulations. Leveraging the "Geely Future Mobility Constellation (Phase I)", the company will offer IoT connectivity services that boast wide coverage, low power consumption, and high reliability. These services will facilitate all-weather, intelligent data gathering and remote interactions across various domains, including intelligent transportation, marine fisheries, energy, and water resources management.
