Kingsoft has unveiled its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, revealing a total revenue of RMB 2.51 billion. Of this, revenue generated from office software and services amounted to RMB 1.7 billion, marking a 25% year-on-year surge. The adjusted net profit attributable to the parent company's owners stood at RMB 331 million, up by 37% from the same period last year. By the end of the quarter, the company's cash holdings had reached RMB 27.157 billion.

The revenue composition has become even more focused on office operations, with this segment accounting for nearly 70% of the total revenue in this quarter. In contrast, revenue from online games and other ventures was around RMB 800 million, experiencing a year-on-year downturn. In the first half of the year, the office business sustained growth exceeding 20%, whereas the gaming sector continued its downward trajectory due to a revenue slump in existing products, with new game launches yet to fully compensate for this shortfall.

The expansion in the office business was propelled by the collective contributions of various segments, including personal subscriptions, organizational-level collaboration tools, and government and enterprise software solutions. Notably, WPS 365 witnessed significant growth. This year, the company has consistently ramped up its investment in the AI domain and rolled out relevant products. However, it has not disclosed the revenue specifically from its AI operations, as the overall growth of the office business is shaped by a multitude of factors.

The company's substantial cash reserves offer robust backing for its investments in AI R&D and game content development. Looking ahead, its growth prospects hinge on the paid conversion rates of AI products and the market reception of newly launched games.
