On August 19, 2026, Honghu 03, a technology demonstration satellite independently developed by Hongjing Technology, was successfully launched into space aboard the Zhuque-3 Yao-2 carrier rocket. Once in orbit, the satellite's solar panels unfolded seamlessly, telemetry parameters remained within normal ranges, and the launch mission was declared an unequivocal success. At present, with the growing sophistication of reusable rocket technology and the rapid expansion of global low-Earth orbit constellations, the 'mass production' of satellites has emerged as a viable solution to meet the escalating demands for high-density launches and swift network establishment. Wan Jun, Chairman of Hongjing Technology, remarked that the development of Honghu 03 was tailored to this evolving landscape, with a focus on exploring technical avenues conducive to mass replication, spanning from core standalone components to the entire satellite system during the design phase.
