Microsoft has acknowledged that the right-click menu in Windows 11 suffers from being "cluttered and sluggish" and is undergoing a systematic overhaul. This update focuses on three core optimizations: improving response speed, presenting a more streamlined interface by default, and supporting user customization of menu content based on individual usage habits. The new menu will prioritize loading frequently used core actions, delay loading third-party extensions, and allow users to add or remove menu items at their discretion. Microsoft plans to test the update in preview versions before rolling it out to all users by the end of the year.
