On August 18, the State Administration for Market Regulation (also known as the Standardization Administration) gave its approval and issued a mandatory national standard, namely, the 'General Technical Specifications for Positioning Modules of the Beidou Navigation Satellite System in Transportation'. This standard is slated to come into force on February 1, 2027. The implementation of this standard will harmonize the technical specifications for Beidou positioning modules across the transportation sector.
