On August 11, as per the Sichuan Science and Technology official account, the international standard ISO 19991:2026, titled "Fusion Technology — Experimental Magnetically Confined Fusion Facilities — Ultrasonic Molecular Beam Injection Fueling Technology for Fusion Devices," crafted by China, was officially unveiled on August 10 (local time). During the final voting process, a unanimous approval was granted by 12 nations, including France, Germany, and Russia. This milestone marks China's first ISO international standard in the realm of fusion fueling and represents the second such standard in the fusion field, spearheaded by the Southwest Institute of Physics under the aegis of the China National Nuclear Corporation.
