As John Ternus is set to officially succeed Tim Cook as CEO of Apple on September 1st, the formation of his core leadership team is accelerating. According to Bloomberg, Laura Legros, the former Vice President of Hardware Engineering at Apple who retired in 2022, has been invited to return and will report directly to Ternus. Legros was deeply involved in the launches of the MacBook Air (2018) and iPad Air (2020) and was a key deputy to Ternus in the past. Ternus is currently in a transitional learning phase, presiding over executive meetings and reviewing medium- to long-term roadmaps for various departments.
