Unitree Robotics has received the green light for its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the STAR Market from the Shanghai Stock Exchange and has completed registration with the China Securities Regulatory Commission. The company is set to issue 40,446,434 shares, constituting 10% of its total share capital post-offering. The preliminary pricing is scheduled for August 5, 2026, with both online and offline subscription dates confirmed for August 10, 2026. Notably, Unitree Robotics has implemented a special voting rights structure. Prior to and following the offering, the actual controller, Wang Xingxing, along with his controlled platform, will maintain collective control over 68.78% and 65.31% of the voting rights, respectively.
The company's top executives and key employees intend to participate in strategic placements through two asset management plans, with Wang Xingxing personally pledging to subscribe for 15 million yuan worth of shares. Financial records reveal that from 2023 to 2025, Unitree Robotics reported revenues of 159 million yuan, 392 million yuan, and 1.708 billion yuan, respectively, with corresponding net profits of -11.1451 million yuan, 94.5018 million yuan, and 288 million yuan. Looking ahead, the company anticipates revenue for the first half of 2026 to range between 1.052 billion and 1.128 billion yuan, with net profits projected at 258 million to 306 million yuan.
Established by Wang Xingxing in Hangzhou in 2016, Unitree Robotics initially focused on the development of quadrupedal robots before successfully venturing into the humanoid robot sector. In March of this year, the company's IPO application was accepted, and it cleared the review process in June without any hitches. The proposed fundraising target is set at 4.202 billion yuan, reflecting an estimated valuation of approximately 42 billion yuan. If successfully listed, Unitree Robotics is poised to become the inaugural "humanoid robot" stock on the A-share market. The proceeds from the IPO will be predominantly allocated to four key projects, with the research and development of intelligent robot models receiving the largest share of investment, particularly the model R&D project.
