The second-quarter reports on publicly offered funds reveal that, by the end of the quarter, the total number of publicly offered FOFs (Fund of Funds) in the market had climbed to 619, marking an increase of 27 from the figure at the end of the first quarter. The combined scale of these funds reached RMB 311.284 billion, reflecting a growth of RMB 24.836 billion or an 8.67% uptick. Amid the tech market rally in the second quarter, publicly offered FOFs' portfolios exhibited a clear inclination to 'ride the wave.' According to a research report from Caitong Securities, the overall portfolio composition of FOFs maintained stability, with fund holdings rising to 90.33% and stock positions experiencing a slight uptick to 1.68%. Notably, both the stocks held and the equity fund selections within the portfolios witnessed a substantial surge in 'tech content.'
