On June 17th, coinciding with National Low-Carbon Day, China proudly announced the official launch of its inaugural carbon footprint database tailored for key industrial products. This groundbreaking database effectively bridges the gap in China's domestic data landscape, encompassing 27 pivotal industries and boasting an extensive repository of over 100,000 real-world data points amassed over the past ten years. Employing a sophisticated three-tier node architecture, it offers comprehensive, one-stop public welfare services, establishing a unified and authoritative benchmark for carbon footprint accounting in industrial products. This, in turn, bolsters carbon assessments, facilitates industry transformation, and aids corporate exports.
