On June 7, Xu Shubiao, the General Manager of SPIC, held a meeting with Liang Huiling, Deputy Secretary of the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Heilongjiang Province, in Harbin. During the meeting, both sides engaged in a comprehensive exchange of views regarding the enhancement of cooperation within the energy sector and the facilitation of Heilongjiang's revitalization and development. Liang Huiling voiced her aspirations for SPIC to augment its investment in Heilongjiang during the '15th Five-Year Plan' phase, foster collaborative innovation in production, education, research, and application alongside local central enterprises and universities, implement heavy-duty gas turbine projects, take part in pilot initiatives for coordinated computing and power supply, as well as the construction of zero-carbon parks. Furthermore, she encouraged the development of projects aimed at the resourceful utilization of biomass straw and livestock and poultry manure, advocated for the integrated advancement of new energy sources, and underscored the importance of supporting Heilongjiang's transition towards green and low-carbon energy.
