Xynova Future has announced the successful completion of its Series A funding round, raising hundreds of millions of yuan. This round of financing was jointly led by Lixiang Strategic Investment, CSC Capital, and CSC Investment, with additional participation from the Yangtze River Delta Digital Culture Group and Yuanjia Fund as follow-on investors. Meanwhile, existing shareholders, including Caitong Capital, Xiaomi Strategic Investment, and CETC Fund, significantly increased (over-subscribed) their investments. Lighthouse Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor for this round. Since its inception at the end of 2024, Xynova Future’s cumulative funding has neared 1 billion yuan, firmly establishing it as a leader in China’s dexterous hand sector. As one of the few companies with fully independently developed core technologies, comprehensive whole-hand engineering capabilities, and large-scale production capabilities, Xynova Future aims to become a full-stack provider of general dexterous manipulation solutions. Building on its dexterous hands as the hardware foundation, combined with an arm-hand coordinated execution architecture and a cerebellum-inspired motion control algorithm as its intelligent core, the company has created a complete closed-loop system spanning perception, control, and decision-making. This system delivers integrated software-hardware manipulation solutions for robot bodies, algorithms, and diverse application scenarios.
Founder and CEO Xia Yuxuan holds dual degrees in physics and computer science from internationally prestigious universities. He previously worked at several top-tier investment institutions and successfully assembled a multidisciplinary team covering the entire industrial chain. Core team members are drawn from leading technology and manufacturing companies, as well as top universities both domestically and internationally, boasting over two decades of expertise in high-efficiency motor systems and mechatronics technology.
Xynova Future recently unveiled the world’s first bionic dexterous hand, the Xynova Flex 2, which features a hybrid drive system combining tendon-rope and direct-drive motor technologies. This innovative product integrates the lightweight design (400 grams), high degrees of freedom (23 in total, including 19 active and 4 passive), and safe compliance of tendon-rope systems, while also incorporating the instantaneous output capability and dynamic responsiveness of direct-drive motors. The hand incorporates multi-modal sensing technology, achieving a repeat positioning accuracy within ±0.1 millimeters, force control accuracy of 0.05 Newtons, a maximum fingertip force of 20 Newtons, a gripping and lifting capacity of 20 kilograms, and a lifespan of 1 million open-close cycles, enabling reliable operation across a wide temperature range.
Through full-chain independent research and production, Xynova Future ensures the scalability and mass production capability of its products. The company’s newly constructed 5,400-square-meter factory is expected to commence ramp-up production by the end of June 2026 and achieve an annual production capacity of 10,000 dexterous hands and 200,000 micro-cylinders by year-end. Lixiang Strategic Investment, CSC Investment, and Lighthouse Capital have all highly commended Xynova Future’s technological prowess, rapid product iteration, mass production capabilities, and team performance, expressing strong confidence in its future growth.
