On May 28th, news emerged that Hongrun Green Energy (Xuancheng) Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hongrun Construction, recently staged a grand launch ceremony to mark the commencement of its high-performance battery project.
The project is set to annually manufacture 60 million ultra-high-power cylindrical batteries and 120 million Ah battery cells tailored for low-altitude economic applications. Its core focus lies in pioneering ultra-high-power cylindrical battery technology and developing high-performance solid-liquid hybrid battery cells.
It is anticipated that the project will achieve full production line certification between July and August 2026, paving the way for official mass production and subsequent market introduction in September of the same year.
