On April 28, it was reported that the Outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of Guangdong Province has been released. The outline proposes to build an industrial chain for rockets, satellites, ground stations, and terminal equipment by leveraging the strengths of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Yangjiang, and other cities. It also supports the construction of commercial aerospace industrial parks to enhance the full-chain development capabilities of aerospace vehicle research and development, manufacturing, general aviation equipment production, operation, and maintenance. Meanwhile, it aims to promote the low-cost mass production of key products such as satellites and rockets, accelerate the innovative application of the Beidou system, and expand the fields of satellite applications.
