On April 19, during the 2026 Beijing Yizhuang Robot Half Marathon, AutoNavi, a subsidiary of Alibaba, made a groundbreaking announcement by officially launching the world's first fully autonomous embodied robot designed for open environments—AutoNavi Tutu. This innovative quadrupedal robot is specifically engineered to aid visually impaired individuals in navigating through intricate settings, skillfully avoiding obstacles, and seamlessly maneuvering through crowds. At the heart of its remarkable capabilities lies AutoNavi's cutting-edge ABot embodied technology system. This system is underpinned by extensive real-world scenario data and multimodal datasets comprising tens of millions of entries, empowering the robot to autonomously perceive, make decisions, and execute actions in open environments with remarkable precision. Presently, AutoNavi's ABot series models have set a new benchmark by achieving state-of-the-art (SOTA) results across 15 authoritative benchmark tests conducted globally.
