On April 18, China proudly unveiled its first independently developed and constructed offshore mobile multi-functional intervention platform, named 'Zengchan No.1'. The official delivery ceremony took place at Haixi Bay, Qingdao, Shandong Province. Conceived and built by CNOOC Energy Technology & Services Limited, this platform is a marvel of engineering, measuring 62.4 meters in length and 43.2 meters in width. It boasts a total weight surpassing 7,300 tons and is designed to operate at water depths ranging from 5 to 40 meters.

Employing a 'mobile + modular' design philosophy, the 'Zengchan No.1' platform seamlessly integrates a multitude of functions. These include fracturing, acidizing, profile modification, and thermal recovery techniques for heavy oil extraction. In a groundbreaking move, it introduces a bespoke AI large model, facilitating all-weather intelligent monitoring and analysis. This innovation significantly enhances operational safety and management efficiency.

The platform's ultra-large fracturing integrated system is a standout feature, capable of housing 10 large fracturing pumps. It achieves an impressive maximum operating capacity of 25,000 horsepower, thereby substantially boosting oil and gas recovery rates. Once operational, the 'Zengchan No.1' is projected to slash the production enhancement cycle for single wells by 40% and reduce comprehensive operational costs by 30%. This will effectively cater to the demands of efficient development and reserve and production augmentation in the Bohai Oilfield.
