On April 11, 2026, Unitree Technology unveiled a video demonstrating that its H1 humanoid robot reached a top running speed of 10 meters per second during a 100-meter trial, thus breaking the global record for humanoid robots. This robot features legs measuring 0.8 meters in length and weighs around 62kg. For comparison, the peak speed attained by Usain Bolt, the world's fastest human sprinter, is approximately 12.42 meters per second. Notably, the H1 had previously established a speed record for humanoid robots at 3.3 meters per second back in August 2025.
