Recently, Beijing LingSheng Technology Co., Ltd., an innovation enterprise in embodied intelligence founded by a team from Tsinghua University, officially launched its self-developed "LivUMI Data Collection Solution". This solution directly tackles prevalent industry challenges, such as the high costs associated with data collection, difficulties in achieving adaptability, and low efficiency. It sets a new standard for embodied intelligence data collection by providing a versatile and cost-effective data collection tool, priced in the range of tens of thousands of yuan.
The LivUMI Grip device ensures hard synchronization among multiple sensors within a mere 1 millisecond, with the grip detection accuracy of the end-effector reaching an impressive 0.1mm. It incorporates an ultra-high-definition fisheye camera, a high-precision binocular depth camera, and a 9-axis IMU, offering spatial positioning accuracy of 3mm. The solution is designed for immediate use and automatic system startup, ensuring compatibility with mainstream robotic platforms. This enables flexible deployment in various fragmented scenarios, including industrial, commercial, and residential settings.
Leveraging LingSheng Technology's integrated "Collection-Training-Deployment" toolchain, LivUMI is paired with the company's self-developed LDP data management platform. This combination ensures open, full-link data accessibility and efficient reuse, significantly reducing both the costs and cycles associated with model training. The solution finds widespread application in diverse fields, including embodied intelligence data collection, robotic skill development, and university training centers.
