Microsoft is increasingly encouraging users to log in with an online account during the Windows 11 installation process. Both the Home and Pro editions now mandate account login during the Out-of-Box Experience (OOBE) phase. For users who prefer to skip this step, utilizing tools such as Rufus to modify the system image beforehand is necessary. The primary reason some users avoid logging in with a Microsoft account stems from privacy concerns. However, a larger group of users finds it inconvenient that the system automatically designates the first few characters of the account email as the user folder name, complicating subsequent management tasks.

Previously, users could access the command prompt by pressing Shift+F10, input "oobebypassnro" to bypass network login, and proceed with setting up a local account. Unfortunately, this workaround is no longer viable. Microsoft has clarified that the mandatory online login is intended to ensure the proper configuration of device parameters and system functions, thereby minimizing the risk of usage anomalies. Nevertheless, this approach has diminished users' freedom to select their preferred account type, sparking widespread debate and controversy.
