Insta360 announced that it learned of the final ruling by the ITC on February 26, 2026 (U.S. time). Among the six patents involved, the products accused of infringement under three invention patents asserted by GoPro do not constitute infringement, and the patent claims are invalid or partially invalid; one accused product does not constitute infringement, and one claim is invalid. Only some products exported to the U.S. had previously fallen within the scope of protection of one design patent held by GoPro, but the new design solution has been deemed non-infringing, and the previous generation of products is no longer being exported, with current products having been updated and replaced. Thus, the 337 Investigation involving Insta360 has concluded, without having a substantial impact on the company's production and operations. The company will continue to import and sell existing products in the U.S. without restrictions.
