As the climax of the U.S. Super Bowl approached, a post surfaced on the Reddit forum from an individual posing as an OpenAI employee. This person claimed that an advertisement they had participated in producing was not broadcast and then proceeded to 'leak' what they alleged was OpenAI's inaugural hardware product. The purported video featured a luminous spherical gadget alongside open-style headphones. However, scrutiny revealed that the poster's account was less than a year old, and the same individual had previously attempted to secure a position as an accountant at Santa Monica Studio a year earlier. OpenAI's co-founder, president, and official spokesperson have all unequivocally denied the veracity of this claim, prompting the netizen to subsequently delete their account.
