On February 4, 2026, the three major indices of A-shares opened lower collectively. The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.66% lower, the Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.96% lower, and the ChiNext Index opened 1.02% lower. Photovoltaic and optical module concept stocks led the decline, with Junda shares dropping more than 9%, Maxwell shares and Jinko Energy dropping more than 7%, and Changguang Huaxin dropping more than 5%. The banking and pharmaceutical sectors led the gains, with Qilu Bank rising nearly 3%.
