On January 27, 2026, AU Optronics, a Taiwan-based panel manufacturer, announced that after more than two years of patent litigation and a two-week trial, the jury at the Marshall Division of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas ruled that AU Optronics did not infringe any patents of Phenix Longhorn, LLC and declared one of the patents invalid.
