Ryanair's Chief Financial Officer has indicated that the airline may explore the option of incorporating Musk's Starlink Wi-Fi service on its planes in the future. This development comes after a prior, intense debate between Ryanair's CEO and Musk regarding the feasibility of installing Starlink equipment aboard aircraft. Ryanair's CEO had expressed concerns that fitting antennas would lead to increased costs and aerodynamic drag, and questioned whether passengers would be willing to foot the bill for internet access during short-haul flights.
